Editorial team and review process
CostBrick builds planning tools for U.S. homeowners. Pages are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by our editorial team before publication.
How pages are produced
- Cost ranges are compiled from public cost data, manufacturer guidance and published contractor pricing; sources are listed on each guide where available.
- Every calculator page is checked for internal consistency (low/high ranges, units, formula sanity, title and description match).
- Pages carry a last-updated date; material changes are re-checked against sources.
Review and corrections
Estimates are planning ranges, not quotes. If a number looks wrong, use the “Was this estimate helpful?” box on any page or email support@costbrick.com. Confirmed errors are corrected and the page date is updated.
Independence
Some retail links may earn a commission at no extra cost to you; this does not change our estimates. Contractor referrals are labelled and never sold as editorial endorsements.
